Before entering the outdoor lighting world, Karl served our country in the Marine Corps. Although Karl retired from the Marine Corps Reserve in 2009, he still strives for excellence in everything he does, and our careful attention to detail is apparent in each Luminocity installation.
We also pay close attention to the type of fixtures we use with each homeowner. There is never any compromise for durability or quality. We select fixtures based upon the desired lighting effect because each one has a specific task and each one is made to last. We love serving homeowners
Our second key principle is service to others. Our installers love outdoor lighting talk and work closely with customers to create and achieve the vision for their home and property. From fixture selection to lighting design and installation, the Luminocity team will work with you on every aspect of the lighting process to ensure that your system gets the love it deserves. Then we follow that up with the best service possible, including our Annual Maintenance Plan (AMP).
Our AMP members get the best love a lighting system can have, with cleaning and inspection of each fixture, burying any exposed wire and trimming bushes as needed to achieve optimal lighting effect. An AMP service visit also means that there is no charge to switch out any bulb that may burn out during the next 12 months as well as no charge for any minor service need, such as repairing a cut wire.
We love outdoor lighting industry education
Ongoing education is another major part of the Luminocity philosophy. We love to learn and intentionally dedicate time for regular training on the latest in lighting design and installation safety. The years of experience and professional certifications of our installers set the Luminocity team a cut above other contractors. Karl is the only outdoor lighting professional in Indiana to have completed the rigorous 3-year Certified Outdoor Lighting Designer (COLD) course — giving him additional lighting design knowledge. Additionally, he and his Senior Installer are 2 of only 5 Certified Low Voltage Lighting Technicians (CLVLT) in Indiana.
Luminocity is also proud to be one of the few outdoor lighting companies in Indiana to be a member of the Association of Outdoor Lighting Professionals (AOLP), which has set the standard for excellence in the landscape lighting industry. We love learning about the latest trends in outdoor lighting design, and are happy to pass that knowledge on to our homeowners in each new project or system upgrade we complete.
